This issue was solved by instituting a fix suggested by Microsoft Support found on this page: As I had mentioned on previous posts, after installing BD IS 2010 I was no longer able to complete a System Restore. I would like to note that the last issue (wmiprvse.exe) occurred after resolving an issue that I had with System Restore.
